WHY COOL THE FIRE?
In Ayurveda, summer is associated with increased heat, intensity, and the qualities of Pitta dosha.
Pitta energy is intelligent, motivated, focused, disciplined, and transformative.
Balanced Pitta helps us lead, create, organize, and make things happen.
But in excess, especially within modern performance culture, it can show up as:
burnout
pressure
perfectionism
irritability
inflammation
overwork
chronic “go mode”
feeling unable to slow down
And because many of us are also carrying heightened Vata dosha qualities—overstimulation, anxiety, scattered attention, nervous system fatigue—we end up both wired and exhausted.
